Best friends.

She gets everything. I get the cheap consolation prizes.
She's naturally skinny, I'm fat.
She gets 100's, I get 97's.
She gets boyfriends, I get "just want to stay friends".
She gets everyone's attention, I get stuck in the background.
She gets phone numbers, I don't even get a second glance.

What the fuck did she do to deserve a perfect life?

I had been crying before I got on my computer to post again. I didn't read the comments before posting.
I'm crying again.
Thank you guys so much for kind words and caring and everything, sometimes I feel like you're the only ones who do.

  3. Don't you hate it when that happens?
There's always one person you know that seems to sail through life, always getting the easy way...
Sometimes, you just have to rise above it. See it as a goal, a challenge, know that you are you, and that people love you for it :)

I too have always been the "ugly friend". But you know what? We are working so hard and getting so hot and one day we will achieve all our goals(weight wise and others) and we will be stronger for it because we actually had to work for it ; )
    Stay strong <3

  5. I know the feeling, it's like this nagging "I have to do better" in the back of your head. It used to happen with me and my brother. All my life it was: oh scarlet you're so smart, be a prodigy like your brother. Get this award like your brother. Get a good SAT score like your brother. Get a scholarship like your brother. It was annoying, but I used it as ammo to be the best. Now I'm a junior in college at 17 with a perfect 4.0 and completely on scholarships and even getting money back each semester. My brother is seven years older than me and STILL hasn't finished his bachelor's degree. Slow and steady wins the race babe. If you keep going and giving it everything you've got, your best friend will not compare. :)
Also, thanks for the mention in the last post! I was reading it and I was all "does she mean me?? wow!!" Hahaha.
    XOXO and feel better!
